It is advisable to book a convenient appointment of up-to 1 hour depending on your requirements. During your first visit you will meet our customer adviser who will help you select your cloth and trimmings and discuss the style of suit or garment that you would like. You will then have all measurements taken and procedures for garment creation, also advise on the fine detail of the tailoring you require and give you an approximate date for your first fitting. Usually a 5-6 week turn around depending on the cloth chosen.

The finest cloths are generally the more expensive due to the time it takes to produce and more often than not they will have luxury wool or silk and cashmere mixes. While these are fantastic to wear and superb for occasional use, we do not recommend these for everyday work suits. We will advise you on the ideal cloth weight for the intended use of your suit.

As well as a small stock of shirts, we make bespoke made to measure for both men and women starting at £110. Please allow a 30 minute appointment for bespoke shirts.

Yes we do alterations to tailored garments, including those that have not been purchased at Saint Crispin. Please note that we do not carry out alterations on dresses, leather or knitwear.

The worst thing to do is bombard the natural cloth with chemicals so try to avoid dry cleaning until really necessary. Spot clean any spillages and use a really good quality clothes brush.  DO NOT use a trouser press as it will encourage the cloth to shine! We do however work closely with textile professional Dry cleaners and can make local recommendations.

It is preferable to wash our shirts at 40 degrees (as on the label) which will keep the shirt at its best. Always Iron our shirts slightly damp.
